Anthuriums thrive in indirect light, as direct light can scorch their leaves. They do best in bright indirect light (so place your plant in a bright room, away from windows).
They can survive in low light, but be aware that they'll produce fewer flowers and grow more slowly than usual. They prefer well-drained soil, but it needs to retain water. Ours is topped with a layer of moss that helps retain water and humidity when watering.
When it comes to watering, be sure to water them regularly but take care not to overwater, so water little and often on a schedule, and only when the soil is dry to the touch.
